Okay guys, I really did look to see if someone else made a thread on this first but didn't see it so here goes.

I bought regular boating stickers from walmart but haven't used them yet as my registration hasn't come in the mail yet.

At the marina the guys have a 3 digit number on the back/lower/side of my Spark just for ID purposes. Two of the 3 letters have come off twice already , maybe due to the material its made of or the location of the stickers but I'm already forecasting having a problem with stickers sticking.

If my registration numbers come off, no big deal, trial and error and adding new ones. But if the actual registration decal tag that I get from motor vehicle comes off and into the water I'm going to feel a little more screwed.

Has anyone has any problems with the SQUARE REGISTRATION DECAL coming off? Did you put it on the black or the color part? I'm not sure if its exactly the same material. I've been too busy riding to take a very close look at it :)

I heard for the numbers you put on ones meant for inflatable boats work best on the Spark so if my basic walmart ones don't work ill go for those next. Not sure i feel like paying $30 for seadoo name brand stickers unless all else fails.

Word out is that the new plastic design is very hard to get stickers to adhere to it. Sea-doo (of course) recommends using their stickers which a specifically designed to work with the new plastic on the spark. Some members have opted to use vinyl ones, not sure how that is working out. Maybe someone could chime in if they are using diffrent stickers.

I am wondering if there is anything you can paint on the inside of the registration decal that you got from the city to make it stick

LOL. This has actually been discussed a lot, both here and on the other forum.

In any case, I bought the sea doo stickers. They worked well. They come with a blank page to stick your square sticker to. Then cut out and put on the ski with their adhesive backing. I got the black ones. I have a lot left over, PM me and I'll see if I have what you need. I don't obviously need them anymore. I think they look pretty good.

Thank you. I've seen posts about the letters and numbers not adhering but nothing about how to get the registration decal from the government to stick.

They come with a blank page to stick your square sticker to
that is what the info I was looking for. Thanks!

I plan on doing it. I heard there is a coating on it that can make it not stick ( on top of the material being not so smooth ) but ya would like to hear if others did. h e l l ( i guess that word gets censored) ill wipe a little nail polish remover on it if all it takes it taking off some coating. But would also like to know if others did
