Tuned the 60hp spark

Hey guys today I tuned my 60 and got some weird feedback.
Before the tune with just the Solas impeller I was running 42mph & 6880 rpm on choppy water.
After the tune I was running 50mph and 7880 rpm
The take off felt less of a gain and was a bit of a drag, the mid range was the most improved from what I felt and the top end just went to a higher mph mark.
I am looking to boost my takeoff I don't care so much for how fast it goes. Do these numbers match for the 109hp tune?

I went from 60 as well. Keep in mind you may be going faster than 50 since the base spark tells it's mph via Rpm.

I find with the tune that my 2 up wants to dolphin from the start. The thing is just too light. I would like to move the gas tank forward or get a larger than that extends into the front. Also R&D should have trim tabs out end of this month.

I used a cop radar to test the speed and ran it 3 times it was spot on 50 every time. What would Trim tabs do? Don't really know what those are since I'm new to the pwc game.

When you tuned it to 109 did it enable the sport more... That may be the cause of the sluggish take off.. It may be in touring mode... To enter sport more hold the dash button till it promps you press again to enter sport mode... Just a guess on my part

Yes that's what I thought after I got out of the water. So I pulled over the side of the road put the key in turned it on and tried to hold the button and nothing. No options given. Would it be cuz I was out of the water? I don't think that could be it.

Not sure other post about tuning said it enabled the touring/ sport mode... I'm interested on what would be causing this I'm wanting to tune my 60hp

Did you start it up? I think it has to be running to enable sport mode.
Touring mode has a excessive delay before full power comes on. Sport will jump out of the water instantly . There will be no question its in sport mode.

He sent his ecu to someone and they tuned it for him. I don't believe it was the vtech tune because we know that enables the two modes. I did mine with vtech and love it. Would suggest to anyone with 60 HP model

Whats the best HP gain from VTECH while still allowing regular (87) octane pump gas (w/ 10% alcohol)? Is it the standard 90 HP Sport mode?:|

1 don't use any ethonel

2 use 98octane in OZ and works very well I get 84 km/ph (52mph) a little more top end but all the rest is great

One more important feature of the license Megatech for BUDS: possibility to programmatically increase the power of the SeaDoo Spark 60 hp up to 90 hp.
Just a few clicks in the additional tab "Advanced" and you get an extra 30 hp!

I can prove that I have done from my 60hp 90hp this way just by BUDS.>

Hi I have buds with megatech key. On advanced tab which option do I adjust to enable 90hp on a 60hp sparks. Thanks for any help

I got the vtech tuner and tuned my 60 hp spark. On my phones gps I get 53 to 54 mph. With the stock prop. It takes off in sport mode almost as fast as my Rxp out the hole. Also I can use my vtech tuner to reset codes and maintenance light. I just wished you did not have to change it to sport mode every time you turn off the ski. The stock tune is faster out the hole than the economy mode.
