So i tryed to get the spark back to its original (or better) after 30hours with sun and salt it has begun to oxides or turn gray or what ever.. So i went and got a Turtle Wax Perfect Finish Professional Results Exterior Plastic the result was very good. I'm done with the first rub, and ill do one more tomorrow.. look at the pictures :)

ill upload some more when I'm done with the second layer..

What do you guys use to "repair your spark" ?

Have you ever tried detailing products from any other brands aside from Turtle Wax?

I heard Auto Glym is good.
Not on the Spark, here in Norway Turtle Wax costs like 1/3 of AutoGlym, but ill try them out. its important that it looks good!

I'm looking for something that repels water from it tho.. its a lot of good products that we dont have here that i see you guys have in the US.
I (and quite a few others) like 303 Aerospace Protectant... if you guys can get it over there in Norway...
Wow! Great results! Where did you get it? Whats the name of the store? Im from Norway as well, so don't mind translating the name I've seen similar products at the gas station

Opti coat is something that might protect it from water and do more.

I know car guys love that stuff!

Got lucky and found the wax in the first store i was checking! I have applied one coat, and it looks great.

It didn't make a noticeable difference on the white panels. It got just a tad more shiny.

These pics shows where the wax didn't get to because of the engine access panel and where i waxed it

Not bad, got to love how much richer it makes the black look.

How many coats did you apply?

Keep us posted on how long it lasts.
Good job, the Turtle Wax is both cheap and easy to use.. Its about 10-15$ here in Norway.
The wax thing is suppose to only be applied once and work for like 15-30 min, then you remove it. and the funny thing is that when you use your ski and it kinda goes away, but the plastic sweats it out again.. and protects the plastic from UV so its kinda awesome for the spark.

@fletcher, No we dont got the 303 here.

@Patrick, You get it most places. But you can buy online at Bilpleiekongen.no

@seaking only one coat. is suppose to stay in the plastic for 6months (on a car)
Here it is, when its all done.. I'm going to put on a sealer tomorrow that is suppose to be very good for reflecting water.. its called HydrO2 and its only a spray that you coat the whole thing with and use a power washer to activate it.

Google it :)

The most important thing isn't more layers but to work it in. its recommended that you do it in the sun so the plastic is warmer. and rub it like crazy =)

Wow, i paid closer to 40$ for mine... The instructions says to apply the wax, and let it "soak" into the plastic in direct sunlight for about 5-10 minutes. Well as you probably know, sunlight isn't Norways best friend, so i applied it without the sun... But it didn't say anything about removing it?

i payed 89.- NOK on the website i linked in your quote =)

you are right i did it in the garage because it wasn't any sun outside, hehe.

it was a video showing that you should remove it after the "working time" but i dont think it matters because it sweats it out again and looks the same anyway =)
