I'm looking into getting a V-Tech tuner for my 60Hp Spark...

I'd be buying it and then charging people a fee to use it.

Where is the best place to buy one? Their website seems kind of sketchy so are there any resellers that anyone has used?

Also is there anyway to convert it back to 60HP (undetected) incase I have to bring my spark to the dealer for warranty work? I have a 2 year warranty and I don't want it going to waste just because I wanted a some more speed/power :D

It can be tuned back to 60 easily. Greenhulkk has them for sale . I offer mine for free. I don't think people will be lining up to pay you for a use. Heaps of people on hear have them already on another post and offer them for free.

I'm in Canada though (Ontario) and I have yet to find someone with one, All I would want to do it pay off the cost of the tuner

The website seemed really sketchy to me also. The whole process was a little sketchy but they didn't steal my money and everything worked out great. But I didn't think it is simple as they make it sound. It's a lot of screwing around. I think it would be much easier to just buy the 90hp model.

Oh and yes you can put it back to 60hp. Unlikely they would ever know but remember your flashing your skis computer it kind of a big deal if you screw it up you WILL destroy your engine.
Seriously ?? I don't think so. It is a simple procedure once you have done it once it is simple plug and play. VTECH is not just a 1 tune there are a number of tunes including 60hp 90hp 109hp in a couple versions and an E85 120hp tune. Plus you can read errors and reset them yourself.

Yes, you can switch between tunes and back to stock. We sell them on PWCMuscle.com. We have the map tuners in stock right now. Give us a call if you have any questions. 888.605.2335

Another Question

Does the Vtech Tune enable the GPS Speed? Or is that an additional sensor that is added for the HO models? I figured they would have to install a antenna for it somewhere but I can't find a part number for one between the two models.

Maybe it's in the IBR actuator? I'm not sure but im pretty sure vtech does not enable gps

Yeah I'm not sure, But if it was in the IBR actuator then the non-IBR models wouldn't have GPS... and they do (I think)

Would be nice to have a real speed on my LCD instead of it saying that im doing doughnuts at 60km/h ;)

I hope an after market manufacturer comes up with a plug n pay mod that enables GPS speed. Kinda dumb that is wasn't stock with the spark. A GPS Receiver costs a few bucks at the most.
