Hi all,
Just wondering what parts or tools do you take with you when you take your spark out on the water.
I was wondering if one could change the wear ring if it broke while you are out. I would take the ski out of the water and work on it on the trailer, but at least I would save the trip back home and not ruin the day.

My spark sucked up a woodchip and jammed the impeller. Made it back in limp mode. Used a long blade screwdriver to pop the chip out. Did not have to remove the grate. So either that or a stiff wire (coat-hangar) with a bend/hook at the end.

Did you damage the wear ring by sucking up that woodchip?

Damaged my wear ring? I don't think so. I saw some scuff marks but I've just been riding it. Haven't felt any vibration or anything strange.
