I have a 90hp 2 up. For me, it's plenty of power. I didn't think it would be, because I'm the type that almost always wants more power HaHa

I ride mine in the Gulf of Mexico and inter-coastal waterways and for the most part it's too wavy to keep it at full throttle for a long time. I mostly use full throttle in quick blips for messing around doing donuts, jumping waves etc. The Spark is light so it really hops a lot even in light chop.

If you're riding in a calm lake and want to achieve better top speed numbers that's a different story.

I have a 60hp vteched to the so called 100+hp map . I also have a 90hp . Without a doubt I would go for another 90hp . Just less of a hassle to get nomonally the same performance. Now if the vtech was a reasonably priced at a couple hundred bucks that would sway me the other way.

I've got a 60HP, It'll probably last longer than the 90HP (Lower RPM) But it is slower, But that doesn't mean it isn't a blast to ride! I'll be doing the Vtech tune next year likely up to the magical *110HP*.

I don't think that it will last longer than the 90hp model...what is hard on an engine are cold starts. Is were you see almost all the wear on it. 7000rpm vs 8000rpm is not a big difference for this engine.
