It didn't come with one? Mine came installed under the seat
none w/ mine, manual says not included, however, if theres a fire, the seat is just over the motor and gas tank! I'm not reachin for an extinguisher "under the seat", I'm swimmin away - fast, or getting my extinuisher that's AWAY from the unit (like in my Jeep or garage)...however, I thinnk thats a nice thermos spot :)
It did. Just wasn't sure where it went. Also idk the laws by you guys but does a distress "flag" that came with my coast guard kit count as a flare?
I bought two of them and they both didn't come with one definetly will be picking a couple up to put there though

I'd say under the seat as well and what size did you guys get for the extinguiser?
They make an actual pwc size fire extinguisher I just picked up 2 of them for my sparks on Saturday

In my state, we dont have to have a flag, on a whistle. We also do not have to have a flair unless in "Coastal water" which I was told I did not need in the intercoastal, only if I left the jetties.
I'm on the Chesapeake Bay and was told by both the dealer and read it plainly in the Maryland Boat safety course that the USCG requires a fire extinguisher and sound device on all water craft. So I got "safety kits" from the dealer that included everything.

I assumed if it was a USCG requirement everyone would get them at time of sale...life vests are required too but you don't always get those from dealer so....
...not so in WA or OR, though I carry a whistle, orange SOS banner, along with a tow strap, hose pinchers (for the clamping off of water line so as to be towed), extra key (they do break or mysteriously disappear) and mini flashlite..

fire extinuisher, if you get right siize one I imagine, does go under the seat, (over the gas tank. and all those fumes :), I'd jump and swim fast and away before trying to remove the seat, get extinuisher and put out MY fire, though it might be handy if you get close to another fire?
In NY the flag is because it's again the law to ride a jetski during sundown-night or before the sun rises. I guess anytime it's a little dark
