The SPARK is only around 400lbs, empty. I have a KAW TS650 (SAME weight) for 22 years and never had a problem pulling it up on the trailer.

The Spark sits flat on the 2 rails, and I use several "O" rings to tie the front to a support bar (Keeps it from sliding backward). My plan is to add a "large rubber V" to the support bar, so I can drive it it to a touch point, and then tie it off.

You need a winch if launching at Low tide or almost anytime so you do not have to back your trailer so FAR into the water. Better NOT to submerge your rear wheel when launching for years because it will cost you in the end (Especially in Salt Water).
A winch is cheap insurance for Varying launch conditions?
