Hey guys. First off I'm not very literate when it comes to these type of things but it's going to freeze tonight and I need to have this done by then. I have come to this conclusion.

1. Fill up tank with gas to prevent condensation.

2. Add fuel stabilizer.

3. Run for 2-3min to drain all water from it.

4. Put it on a battery tender.


I am aware that you also need to spray fog on the cylinders to make sure they don't rust. How can I access these to spray them and is this absolutely necessary for winterization?

It's not absolutely necessary. The manual recommends it but many skip that step. To fog it you need to take the top deck off. Don't forget to blowout the exhaust either.

I just winterized mine yesterday. I ran a 50/50 mix of coolant through the entire ski for the last flush. That way, any water that is in the ski wont freeze during the winter because it has the antifreeze mixture in it.

I see that...not sure how well that works...I will have to try it and and check the spark plugs and cylinders to see if the fogging oil is getting to all the cylinders.

They say to run 15 minutes out of water wtf the manual says 2 minutes max out of water due to no cooling to the closed loop of engine
I wouldn't do that
