I'm creating my own blue tooth stereo system. My skis are in storage now so can't install it but it will definitely work.
So I used a jam classic blue tooth speakers and took it apart removed the speaker from it and kept only the bottom base which has the computer card in it and hooked up two 5.5 inch marine speakers. It's super easy and loud. I'm going to mount this in the nose of the spark and use an ac adapter and keep a car charger connected to it and the battery I'm running the on/off switch to the small center console no pics yet but just wanted to let everyone know you can have your own stereo for under $100. I'm mounting the speaker to the inside of the storage bin not to comfortable cutting into the hull.

If you going to do it do it right... and it loud as **** I assure u that ...will be done soon .and this is how u do it

Hi that ski is mine, I did the mod on it and just to let you know I flip it all the time and it's FINE, NO PROBLEMS

If they flip that I feel sorry for them... The pressure of the water could either a)force it's way between the cone and the tweeter causing speaker failure along with an entry point for water into the hull, or b) the cone could be forced back causing the speaker to short quickly. Just saying that's not a good place for them. Have been dealing with audio for 5+ years speakers like that are not waterproof they are water resistance.

Entry point WHERE... I DONT CARE IF TOU DESIGNED SPEAKERS,I have NEVER had any issues so irrespective of what it states, I'm speaking from proof of actually flipping my ski and sounds work great.. These are the newer gen model too

Haven't done this my self, but I bet you could mount some speakers where the storage bin is located if you're willing to give up the space. Maybe use the Kicker pxibt50.2 and some wake tower speakers? Just a thought if you're hesitant to cut into the hull

I love my ue mini boom

I was going through the same thing and bought several bluetooth speakers, and I was very dissapointed, then I stumbled on this baby, this speaker is absolutely no joke blows most speakers I tested out the water..

I bought it for my spark, but I even use it on my boat that's how much I like it, and I haven't made the holding platform for it yet but as soon as I do I'll post some pictures,

By the way I take this speaker everywhere with me now, lol, I'm amazed on the loudness this little sucker delivers :

I tried that mini boom and didn't feel like it was loud enough while riding couldn't hear much above an idle maybe I had a did idk
Well, idling in my boat was perfect for me, I'm not sure how loud you wanted, I had it in my boat because I didn't want to drain my boat battery while chilling in the middle of the water..

Now I'm mounting my mini boom right on my handle bar facing me... out of all the speakers I tested, and I tested mostly all of them at best buy, plus 3 I ordered online that I sent back, the mini boom took the cake, anything louder that small had to be the other ue speakers, of course that's my own personal opinion..

Guys the portable Bluetooth items are not strong enough, this kicker system that I installed is effing loud.. Even at full throttle it's loud. The speakers using the hull for amplified Sou d while in the footwell acts as a tunnel type effect which I. Turn make it bassier and loud too. I'm going to MoU t dome to my new spark too but I'm going 1 step better. I'm going to fabricate weld on plastic rear cone covers(isolate from hull) dismantle the speakers and wax coat them. The amplifier first time didn't do too well in the hull, but the second system I wrapped up in its Oem plastic bags and it never failed even after tons of water and flipping g etc..

I went and purchased the EcoXgear Bluetooth Speaker for $89.99 from Costco across the line down in Bellingham. For the price, it sounds great, and it mounted nicely, on the right hand side, just underneath the handlebars. I'll provide an update I regards to the sound quality while out on the water, and if it holds up to the vigors of bouncing off waves and stuff.

The speaker has a 1/4" universal mount on it, like on a camera or a GoPro, so I just drilled a 1/4" hole in the side, fed a 1/4" 20 thread screw though it, secured it with a locking washer and a wing nut, then just attached the speaker to the end of the screw.

Guys this little speaker is amazing! It is water proof, good sound, and amazing battery life. Go to foogoo.com and see for yourself. Its a little pricey yes but at 50% volume you get 40 hours thats 40 hours of usage, so at full volume you get 20 hours more than enough to be out on the water all day.
Lets see pics on sparks

I think you mean Fugoo.com
Hey everyone,

Here is a picture of the Fugoo mounted on the spark using the velcro strap.

I had a lucky incident with it this weekend and for the price, it went back to the store yesterday.

The mount just isn't strong enough to take a few bumps, it fell off, and lucky (since this model doesn't float) I caught it before it fell into a river you can't see more than 4 inches down due to the muddy water. Was a great little speaker, but again, couldn't hear it when riding except very minor midrange noises.

Looking curently at the Nyne Aqua that is a 10W (versus Fugoo is 6W) and looks like we may be able to wrap over the centre white panel on handlebars so it won't go anywhere. It floats, and has 15 hours battery life.

When I buy a spark next year I am going to design a system using waterproof surface transducers mounted inside the hull. If you don't know what they are check them out. They require about twice the power but are neat, there's a lot of cool videos online.
