I got 2x 2up's 60HP for $4995 + $125 setup fee, then $1500 for double Triton Trailer. Walked out the door for $11740.

These were bare units with no options, I have since added storage bins on both and speed tie on one.

Not in the least, two other dealers I looked at were charging more and didn't have the models I wanted.
You were also likely treated very special, coming in there to take two of them off their hands...

Although I guess thats still the cost of one single ski. But I suppose thats the whole point of the spark, on boarding new clientele. Surprising these dealers are trying to take some folks to the wringer, when they should be building rapport for when you come back for a larger ski eventually ;)

I walked out the door with a 3up HO with convienance package ready to ride with trailer for about 7000. I traded an old trailer for a couple hundred bucks so in all reality I walked out under 7000. This was first of April. Sales tax and titling I don't think should be included in buying cost because in missouri they are separate. (I buy and then worry bout sales tax later down road). But I think mine was around 400 so 7400 isn't to shabby for a brand new ready to ride machine

My 3 UP with iBR and convenience was (canadian) 8966 plus 800 for the trailer, 200 for the cover. Plus 13% tax! Not to mention $80 a year to register the trailer and $505 per year for damage and liability insurance. Used machines in my area, even for a 2005 still sell for 4-5k with a trailer, it still made sense for me to pick up a new one.

My wife and I went to check pricing and inventory in the Clearwater/Tampa Bay Florida area. They only had a few sparks available and the fees they tag on are definitely ridiculous. The guy said the Sparks come in crates full of parts and that they have to be assembled by their mechanics.

He also said that Sea-Doo makes the dealer buy more expensive machines from them just to have the privilege of receiving the Sparks in their inventory. It's hard for them to sell the more expensive machines, so they are limited by Sea-doo as far as inventory goes.

We were excited about getting back on the water and wanted to get two 2-up 60hp sparks and a double trailer and do the v-tech upgrade. Now I'm not sure if we're going to buy at all. We might wait a year or so until the market calms down and inventory levels rise back up.

Any one find a good/reasonable Spark dealer willing to work with you on price in Florida?

We'd be willing to drive a ways to get a better deal.

Go with the Ebay dealers...they are charging msrp plus a 297 delivery fee and thats it...You would have to drive to snatch them but you would save money in the end spending 500 bucks in gas to get them then pay all the fees that the dealers are tacking on in florida...

I know this isn't the exact model you arent looking for, but i have seen 2up 60hp come up on ebay....

2014 Sea Doo 3 Seater Spark H O IBR Conven Pkg 3 49 $108 Monthy | eBay

1000 miles each way at 20mpg is 50 gallons x $4 a gallon is $200 bucks each way....

In Maryland Sparks are going for msrp+$350 shipping+$250 setup+registration+the required safety kit+cost of a new trailer which for me was a double for $1300. Depending on region seems to influence inventory too. Most big city dealers around DC, Baltimore, Annapolis seem to only have fully loaded 3up Sparks with every option.

I feel good now w/ mine: A basic 2UP at $99 below MSRP ($4900). $495 freight and setup (+TTL). Single Karavan Trailer & Jack was $800 (+TTL). $100 Doc fees reimbursed were with a $100 gift card, so that's a wash.. Got $1100~ ofoptions and accessories at 10% off but, then with another gift card and yet another $100 credit to future purchases and all got installed free (except manual reverse which is backordered anyway)...took 4 trips of 20 mins each to the dealer though

I looked at so many quotes posted on several forums what people paid for their Sparks. Don't you think we are all basically paying the same and the dealers are just subtracting from one charge/fee and adding to another? My numbers are really close to yours just I paid more here you paid more there and vice versa.

yep, basically it's MSRP + a freight/setup fee....one way or another, guess it's the freight/prep and Doc fees that are really just a PACK for the dealer...TTL varies per locale so that's a non issue in comparing. Best deal I saw was somebody here posted on eBay. MSRP + $297 freight/prep + $80 doc fees if registered in selling state. But, if your not close, gas/shipping negates that savings fast...

One area you can negotiate big is 1) a trailer (they have a high markup) and 2) accessories from BRP or the dealers stock, and 3) FEES!...

Like I said, I got 10% off at the dealer's parts/accessories stock forever and $200~ in gift cards to use (my $100 for doc fees and $100 for buying $1K~ of accessories - after the 10% discount as well) ...which BTW will spend fast getting a spare tire/wheel, tie downs and whatnots. Plus a dealer "loyalty card" that gives me .10 for every $1 spent on future purchases. That and $99 off MSRP on Sparky and the trailer/ jack combo for $800 (both +TTL) was best I could do locally. And, put it on my VISA for the points :)

Got my 3up for $7,499 Out The Door! I did pay cash here in Southern California. Loaded it in the back of my truck and took it to an empty trailer at the river 200 miles away. I got the front storage bin kit thrown in for free too.

I paid List for 2UP HO with convenience plus tax and registered it myself for $7.50 and 2 Hours time at DMV.

...funny, here in WA my trailer costs more than the $48~ to register my Jeep, the Sea doo was similar. Thankfully, no excise tax, then there was the stickers and license plate costs. Seems dealers across the country really "PACK" it on w/ doc fees. My Sea doo dealer (also owns the dealership where my JK was delivered) charges $150 per "vehicle", but, I've successfully knocked that to $50 on three purchases now. And, this time a $100 gift card back to me covered the trailer and Spark "doc fees". I was amazed when two salesman at the dealer mentioned how low the Spark markup is and they raised the normal $495 freight/set up they chagre on other PWC, ATV, cycles, etc., to $795 to try to compensate. ( I could only get it back to $495 w/ $4900.oo deal on my base Spark) But, the SPARK is drawing customers in to look aparantly and they've sold all the units sooon after received. They seem more than willing to sell accessories at 10% discount and that gets another 10% of that amount again later back w/ a loyalty card. Couple Portland dealers quoted me freight/Setup over $620 initially w/ SPARK at MSRP but, wanted over $1500 (!!) for a single trailer (WTF ?). So I ended up buying from my closest dealer who bragained well by phone but, I needed 4 trips - 20 mins each way to see, sign, deposit, deliver. I would have gladly bought over the net if shipping wasn't so high. Still, the SPARK got me back to PWC riding after 4~ years of not playing with one.

The price is as follows:
$9,998 for the units
$250 Set-Up fee
$1500 Triton all aluminium 2-place trailer
TOTAL: $11748 OUT THE DOOR PRICE

I purchased out of State, So no tax (Paid 5% to my state plus $40 Per ski to register)
Believe I sent around $580 to the state (Didnt send them any tax money for trailer :) )

No Registration required for trailer in SC
